Laptop Screen Flickers
Your laptop powers on fine but you have noticed intermittent flickering, when you adjust the screen it appears to stop the problem. Depending on your model, if you have an Apple Macbook, try shining a torch from the back of the lid through the Apple Icon, if you can see the icons on the screen this would indicate the actual screen is probably be okay and the backlight controller which illuminates the screen like a fluorescent bulb needs to be replaced, this is more cost effective repair for any Macbook Model than having to replace the screen.
